Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Owner Of Cell Pet Salon In San Jose




Rachel Murphy has expressed deep concern over the traumatic experience his five-pound dog, Toto , went through last weekend. According to Rachel , a groomer allegedly taped Toto r's mouth shut after being bitten, resulting in the dog being bloody and distressed.

Rachel explained, "My pet was clearly distressed. What I initially thought was a muzzle turned out to be tape. Toto r’s paws appeared to be red and inflicted with injuries. The toenails had been cut too near to the paw which probably triggered his biting response."

Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Wow! My Dog for animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

Rachel described the wounds he noticed, saying: "I noted injuries around the joints, the neck, as well as in the genital. The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Marianna De las Vegas - a Wow! My Dog client - posted a Yelp comment detailing how his pets had been returned to him unwell or injure. One customer posted a Snapchat clip of a dog who appeared to be in distress, alleging that the groomer forced a napkin down its ear.

Wow! My Dog also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. Rachel shared: "Juliann told that I should tape animal abuse dog fighting my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Juliann claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He said that he uses the method himself on his dogs.

Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog, who answered the phone and handed it to a woman claiming that they were investigating allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
